The 2011 wage Theft protection act requires employers to provide annual wage notices to all NY employees. Members are allowed to fill out and sign the form as it is a requirement of NY law. The law is another tool that the NY DOL will have to combat wage cheating in NY.
The safety bill has been receiving a tremendous amount of attention lately and it is very important that we continue to support it as well as reach out to all of our legislators. If you have any questions about how to reach your representatives or need assistance just call the hall.
Continuing education classes
Anybody that is interested in attending classes that are designed to help with troubleshooting with hands on training should call or e-mail Jay at the Union hall as soon as possible.
We are currently scheduling a short class on meters (CE011) which will be followed by hydrualic controller theory & troubleshooting class.
